My first year in the university of Bamenda Cameroon

It was both exciting and challenging. Here are some common experiences that I had during my  first year in the university of Bamenda Cameroon:

1. Orientation: During my  first few days and months, the university  had an orientation program to help student get familiar with the campus, meet other students and learn about the resources available to use.

2. Coursework: My first year we  focused on core courses that are mandatory for your major. These courses were somehow challenging, but the also form the foundation of the degree program.

3. Time management: University need a lot of self-discipline and time management skills. I'll have to balance my coursework with extracurricular activities, socializing, and possibly a part-time job.

4. Making friends: University is a great opportunity to meet new people and make friends. I met new people in your classes, clubs, and hostels.

5. Homesickness: It's common to feel homesick during your first year away from home. I Try to stay in connected with family and friends, but also take advantage of the opportunities to explore my new surroundings.

6. Seeking help: If you're struggling with courses or feeling the load is too much don't hesitate to seek help. Your university likely has resources such as academic advisors, tutoring services, and mental health counselors available to you. I seeked help from them.

In conclusion first year in university will be a time of growth and learning. It's important to stay focused on your academic goals, but also take advantage of the opportunities to make new friends, explore new interests, and get involved on campus.
