ReplyDeleteIn reaction to the answers, the answer 112 is wrong while 63 as answer correct consideting the language phraseology inthe question.
The question reads
"7 men have 7 wives, each man and wife have 7 children, what's the total number of people?"
The material element of the understanding of the question lies in the part that reads, "... each man and wife...." not, "... each man and each wife..."
The person who got 112 rephrased the question introducing another element being,"...each man and each wife..." which changed the sense completely.
